Independence Golf Course

This unique and challenging project features an eighteen-hole golf course and par-3 nine-hole course with a clubhouse and parking within a residential setting in Powhatan, Virginia. This extensive project on the home of the Virginia State Golf Association included a boundary survey for acquisition of the property, wetland and easement mapping, construction stakeout of the clubhouse and parking, and the layout of the actual courses and infrastructure. A team of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers from Balzer and Associates, Inc. worked closely to incorporate this stunning golf course into the residential community of Founder’s Bridge.
