Village Bank Corporate Headquarters is located at the corner of Midlothian Turnpike and Watkins Centre Parkway in Chesterfield County, VA. Balzer and Associates, Inc. provided Civil Engineering, Landscape Architectural and Geotechnical Engineering services for the design of the project. The 79,000 sq. ft. building is situated on 6 acres. Site attributes include: an enhanced tree canopy within the parking areas, a pedestrian walkway framed by the canopy of cherry trees located central to the parking area, a front motor court with the bank logo built into the paving, a rear patio to accommodate outdoor seating and activities, and an east pedestrian plaza with flag pole and outdoor gathering area. The site was designed with perimeter and foundation landscaping that maintains interest throughout the year and for ease of care. A stone bridge crosses a stream located at the north end of the property and serves as the main entrance.
