Stavemill Road Relocation

Balzer and Associates, Inc. conducted a Traffic Impact Study to coincide with the potential development of approximately 161 acres of land along US Route 60 in Powhatan County, VA. Our Transportation Engineering Department determined the vehicle trips generated by the proposed developments; concluded if a new traffic signal was warranted on US Route 60 to serve the proposed developments; and ascertained what infrastructure improvements to the adjacent street network would be warranted and required consequent to the proposed developments. Staff from the Transportation Engineering and Engineering Departments have coordinated efforts to provide a road design for the relocation of Stavemill Road to best serve the proposed developments and the community in which it resides.
