As Chairman, Craig is involved in playing a key role in the overall corporate management of Balzer and Associates, Inc. as well as overseeing all of our architectural services. Craig graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1979 and is currently licensed in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
His 28-year tenure with Balzer and Associates, Inc. has given him a strong perspective not only on the growth of architecture but the development of the Roanoke Valley. Craig’s extensive community involvement through groups such as the Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association, Blue Ridge Housing Development Corporation and This Valley Works reflects his desire for positive economic growth.
Jim has been with Balzer and Associates, Inc. for 31 years and currently oversees the financial operations and human resources of the firm while serving as the Manager of our Roanoke office. He graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 1979 and is heavily involved in his community through the Salem Rotary Club and the Southwest Soccer Association.
Jim’s focus on improving management and human resources is evident through his participation as a Board Member and Past President of The Management Association of Western Virginia.
